Greenland Community Primary School

Greenland Community Primary School offers primary education for up to 360 children aged 4 – 11 years old.  Our state-of-the art building that opened in September 2013 provides an inspiring, up-to-date learning environment for all children.

At Greenland we have high expectations of our staff, children and parents. We aim to provide the best possible education through a challenging and exciting curriculum and to be a school of which everyone can be justifiably proud. We actively promote our ethos of supporting every child to achieve success and aspire without limit.

We are currently in the Top 5% of schools nationally for progress in mathematics and reading.  We were graded as “Good” in all areas in our most recent Ofsted Report (November 2019).

South Stanley Infant & Nursery School

South Stanley Infant and Nursery School offer an exciting nursery provision for up to 25 children on both morning and afternoon sessions for children aged 2-4.  Children can enter the Nursery setting during the term within which they turn three.  Our Early Years Foundation Stage and KS1 provision offers an inspiring curriculum for up to 180 children aged 4 – 7 years.

We pride our self on our ability to introduce children to school and education in a fun and enjoyable way that evokes a sense of curiosity about the world around them. We want pupils to co-operate, work together, both within our school and others within Stanley Learning Partnership. Our children are taught from a very early age; they have a voice and are valued members of both our school and the wider community.

In our most recent Ofsted Report (November 2019) our school was graded as “Good” in all areas.

South Stanley Junior School

South Stanley Junior School offers a caring, supportive and stimulating environment for up to 208  7 – 11 year olds.  Our KS2 provision enables our children to develop and grown into thoughtful and capable individuals with a sense of independence and self-worth.

Our learning opportunities are engaging and teaching inspirational, enabling pupils to connect with and relate to their learning experiences.  Our high expectations of children elevate their aspiration and desire to succeed.

Here at South Stanley Junior School we strive to be at the centre of our community.  We nurture a sense of belonging instilling confidence and ambition into the hearts of children under our care.

Bloemfontein Primary School

At Bloemfontein Primary School we offer Key Stage 1 & 2 education for up to 160 children aged 4-11 years.  We strive to create an exciting, caring, safe and secure environment in which children make excellent academic progress whilst having fun!

We ensure that children are provided with a wide range of opportunities through sporting activities, residential trips both nationally and internationally, computing and a creative based curriculum.

At Bloemfontein, we strongly feel that we provide an education for life and a thirst for learning. We place an emphasis on good manners, respectful behaviour and positive relationships; “Pupils’ behaviour is good.  Pupils behave well in classrooms and around the school.  They are kind and considerate with each other, which creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the school.” (January 2018)

Annfield Plain Infant School

Annfield Plain Infant School offer a nurturing Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 provision for up to 120 children aged 4 – 7 years. We have recently opened a Nursery in September 2023 for ages 2 plus.

Our aim is to provide a caring community which is based on mutual trust and respect for the values and beliefs of others. We provide a safe and stimulating environment, which enables children to achieve their personal, creative and academic potential in order to become life long learners. We look forward to working in partnership with parents and extend a warm welcome to visit our school.

Annfield Plain Junior School offers KS2 education for up to 168 children aged 7 – 11 years old.

East Stanley School

East Stanley School offers primary education for up to 245 children aged 4 – 11 years old.

At East Stanley School, our vision is to create a school which is at the heart of the community. A place where we will encourage independence and creative thinking, by providing our children with the skills that will enable them to achieve their full potential in our constantly changing world.

Our aim is to provide a safe, supportive, stimulating and challenging environment where everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential as learners. We believe that this can only be achieved if a child feels happy and secure and our staff work hard to provide this environment for our pupils.

Langley Park Primary School

Langley Park Primary School is a through primary for children aged 4-11 years old.  In addition we offer a pre-school Nursery provision accessible from the age of two.

We have high expectations of children both academically and socially and firmly believe that our children can achieve and excel in both. While we challenge and direct them, we support and encourage them in equal measures.

We pride ourselves on seeing each child individually and encouraging them to share, develop, and take pride in their many talents in or outside of the classroom.

Burnhope Primary School

Burnhope Primary School offer Key Stage 1 & 2 for children aged 4-11 years old.

Burnhope Primary School work together to provide a school where each child feels valued. We aim to help the children to develop a positive and confident attitude to themselves and their work by appreciating and rewarding their achievements.

Burnhope Primary has many strengths-one of them is our reading provision. Our children begin their journey with Ruth Miskin’s RWInc. phonics and as they move into KS2 are exposed to high quality texts which captures their interest-our children love to read!

Collierley Nursery and Primary School

Collierley Primary and Nursery School offer Key Stage 1 & Key Stage 2 for children aged 4-11 years old.

At Collierley Nursery and Primary School we believe that the ethos of the school is central to establishing, achieving and maintaining high standards in all areas.

We are very much an outdoor and active school where we aim to provide a safe, caring environment. We aim to enables everyone in the school to fulfil their potential and feel part of our small school ‘family’.
