Competition Rules

(1) The competition is open to entries from schools located in the United Kingdom.

(2) Only schools and those connected with schools participating in the SLP PE Passport 2021/22 are eligible for entry.

(3) The competition is open to any child attending a school participating in the SLP PE Passport 2021/22.

(4) Any member of the public, school or sporting community can make a nomination.

(5) All nominations must be made on an official online entry form.

(6) Nominations must not exceed the word count stated on the entry from.  Any additional words will not be considered.

(7) Additional supporting material can only be submitted for the School Contribution to Sport & Physical Activity Award.  Please contact the organisers on 01207 266700 to arrange submission. Please note that judges will not consider additional words submitted as supporting evidence in your entry.

(8) Supplementary material submitted to the judges cannot be returned and is sent at the applicant’s own risk.

(9) Nominations open on Monday 4th April 2022.

(10) Nominations close at noon on Friday 6th May 2022.

(11) Judging will take place on Monday 9th May 2022 and will be carried out by a panel which includes representatives from local sporting clubs and SLP.

(12)  All nominee finalists will be informed of their success by Friday 20th June 2022.

(13) All finalists will be required to attend the SLP Sports Awards ceremony, on Thursday 30th June 2022 where the winners will be announced.

(14) The awards will be presented on Thursday 30th June at Consett Empire. Winners will be announced at the event only; no prior intimation will be given.

(15) Finalists will receive one complimentary ticket for this ceremony.  Any additional tickets must be purchased in advance from the hosting venue.

(16) The winners and finalists will be mentioned and profiled on www.stanleylearningpartnership.co.uk and other publications published by SLP.

(17) The name and school of all winners and nominees will be published on www.stanleylearningpartnership.co.uk.

(18) Images will be taken and published at the SLP Sports Award ceremony.

(19) There is no limit to the number of entries that can be submitted.

(20) The number of nominations per child or school will have no bearing upon the judges decision.

(21) The decision of the judging panel is final and no other correspondence will be entered into.

(22) All entrants to the competition will be deemed to have accepted the rules.
