Contract Type:          Part time, permanent  

Salary:                        £11.79 per hour which equates to £4,154 per annum actual salary

Working Pattern:      Monday–Friday 1½  hours each day (7.5 hrs per week) Term Time Only

Required as soon as possible, South Stanley Junior School require a dedicated, self-motivated individual to assist the Catering Unit Manager in providing an effective and efficient catering service to our fantastic village school.

You will assist with food preparation, basic cooking tasks and service of meals to our wonderful children, whilst observing health and safety regulations.

You will be required to ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained and will assist with the setting up and returning dining furniture after lunchtime.

You should have good interpersonal skills and be able to respond to customers in a polite and helpful manner.

As this role is for 1 ½ hours per day, Monday-Friday during term-time – it is ideally suited to someone who lives locally.  The successful candidate will be committed to undertake training and development, commensurate with the role, as required.  This includes annual training in safeguarding.
